On Saturday, July 23 at 6pm, join us for a one-of-a-kind experience of flowers, food, ceramics, and nature. For our first ever event, we'll set the table amidst a field of flowers and welcome you to a bountiful family-style meal prepared by local chefs Camille Cogswell & Drew DiTomo.

This special supper is part of Flowers & Clay, our annual celebration of flowers, pottery, and community in our small village of Walnut, about 10 minutes from downtown Marshall and 30 minutes from Asheville. 

This pass includes a multi-course family-style event, local beer, natural wine, and special non-alcoholic beverages. Not only that, but passholders will be granted access to the rest of the weekend's Flowers & Clay events including: the pottery show, a self-guided tour of the flower property on Saturday, flower picking at the meal and photos, not to mention exclusive access to Carolina Flowers' newest flower property!

The plates and serving dishes will be made from the land! The ceramics for the meal will be exceptionally unique, made by my husband Josh, from clay harvested from the farmland you're dining on, crafted at his wood-fired pottery studio just down the road specifically for this event.

The chefs, Camille and Drew, recently bought the wood-fired bakery in Walnut that has a legacy of great baking going back two decades, and they are already adding to its provenance. Camille is a James Beard Award-winning chef with a background in pastry and Drew cooks exceptional Italian food in addition to consulting for TV productions around the country -- they're amazingly talented and have become great friends of ours! They'll be opening Walnut Family Bakery in the second half of 2022 and diners will get an exclusive chance to hear more about it in person. 

This event is about community. We look forward to the merriment, conversation, and new friends that will come around this table. Welcome!

Terms & Conditions

The menu will include plentiful options for vegetarians. There will also be accommodations for gluten-free diners. However, the menu is not customizable or modifiable, so please inquire if you have specific allergies or dietary restrictions at info@carolinaflowers.com.

Most diners will be asked to park at the top of a hill and walk down the driveway to the event. Guests who need special assistance will have options, but please know that this event is on raw land, so the terrain is uneven. If you have questions about mobility and accessibility, please inquire at info@carolinaflowers.com

Passes are nonrefundable. They are transferable, so if you can't make it, we will transfer your pass to a friend. Let us know if you need to transfer a pass at info@carolinaflowers.com

We reserve the right to move the location of the event due to weather, crop failure or other issues. Regardless of location, there will be abundant flowers, pottery and food!

This event happens rain or shine! Please wear good walking shoes. Closed toed shoes are preferable.

We will follow all state guidelines for COVID-19 precautions. In the rare event of a state-mandated Shelter In Place order, we will issue a credit in the form of a gift certificate redeemable for anything we sell online or in store, including a future workshop.

We reserve the right to cancel this workshop at any time for any reason. If we cancel the workshop for any reason other than state-mandated COVID-19 restrictions (described above), you will receive a full refund.
