Carolina Flowers seeks delivery drivers for part-time work. Shifts typically begin at 11 a.m. at our shop in Marshall. Sometimes drivers are done by 4 p.m. Other times, they finish at 7 p.m. It is essential that you finish the route, so you'll need a flexible schedule on days you're signed up to work.
You will mostly drive the Carolina Flowers delivery van, although being able to use your own car on occasion is a plus. We pay mileage when that's necessary.
Compensation starts at $14 per hour.
You must have a clean driving record and a focused mindset. Making deliveries isn't difficult, but there's a detailed system you will have to follow. You must be able to follow detailed instructions.
You must have a sunny outlook on life and an upbeat personality. Although our deliveries are contact-free, you are the face of our company from 6 feet away, and it's important that our customers see you as friendly, respectful and accomodating.
Also, it's a plus if you enjoy spending time behind the wheel.
We don't think of delivery driving as anybody's No. 1 passion. (Although if it is, great.) Rather, we see these positions as ways to get involved with the company or make a little extra cash doing something fun one or two days a week.
If you think you would be a good fit, send an email to email@example.com. Include your resume and a few paragraphs about why you would make a good delivery driver for our company.
