FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Ordering & Delivery

Where do you deliver?

We deliver fresh flowers throughout the greater Asheville area. For daily orders, our routes cover Weaverville in the north to Hendersonville in the south and Black Mountain in the east to Candler in the west — and everywhere in between.

We also provide regional delivery for weddings and larger orders throughout Western North Carolina, Charlotte, Brevard, Cashiers, Highlands, Greenville, SC, and Upstate South Carolina.

How much does delivery cost?

Delivery fees are calculated automatically at checkout based on the delivery distance from our flower shop. Asheville deliveries usually run $10-$15, and delivery fees increase the farther out we go to cover gas, vehicle maintenance and staff time.

If you would like us to check a delivery fee for you, please give us a call at 828-69-8500.

Can I schedule delivery for a future date?

Yes! During checkout, simply choose your preferred delivery date using our calendar.

Do you offer same-day delivery?

Whenever possible, yes. To place a same-day order, please call us at the flower shop at 828-649-8500.

What time is the cut off for online orders?

We accept online orders until midnight EST on the day of fulfillment. For same-day orders, please call us at 828-649-8500, and we will accomodate if possible.

Can I request a specific delivery time?

Our deliveries are generally made throughout the day, usually 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., although deliveries might start earlier and end later on peak flower holidays. If you need delivery during a specific time window for a wedding or special event, please add a delivery appointment to your cart. This additional fee pays for staff time for a special trip just for your order.

I added a delivery appointment to my cart. Do I still have to pay the delivery fee?

Yes, the delivery fee pays for a space on our normal delivery route with other flower orders and helps us cover labor, gas and vehicle maintenance. The delivery appointment creates special time for your order only, so we charge a little bit more for that.

Do you deliver to Mission Hospital?

Yes, we deliver to Mission! It is up to the customer to ensure the recipient is going to be at the hospital when the flowers arrive. Patients are discharged quickly, and we have no way to see if they are actually there or not. Delivery to a new address is not guaranteed, and we do not issue refunds for orders that have been dispatched to the hospital even if the patient isn't there. Also, flowers are not allowed in the ICU.

Does someone have to be home to receive the flowers?

No, no one has to be home to receive the delivery. However, we can't control what happens to the flowers after we leave them. We will leave the flowers in the safest place possible, and we will text the recipient so they know they are there.

Can I pick up my flowers?

Absolutely! You can select local pickup during checkout and pick up your order at our flower shop at 250 Haywood Road in West Asheville.

Flowers & Designs

Are your flowers locally grown?

Yes! We grow the majority of our flowers on our own 30-acre flower farm in Hendersonville. During the winter or when certain varieties are unavailable locally, we carefully source premium blooms.

Will my arrangement look exactly like the photo?

Probably not. Every arrangement is created using the freshest seasonal flowers available. You choose the colors, and we'll choose the flowers for a one-of-a-kind seasonal creation. We do accept requests, so if there's a flower you really love, be sure to let us know! We will include it if we can!

How many flowers come in my order?

We use market pricing to determine how many flowers to put in each arrangement or bouquet. The price of flowers changes over the course of the season as supply fluctuates. We also give you the full retail value, but the exact stem count can vary a bit.

Wedding Flowers

Do you provide wedding flowers?

Yes! We create custom wedding flowers ranging from intimate celebrations to full-service luxury events. For orders under $4,000, elopements and DIY, check out our a la carte shop, which we call our Wedding & Celebration Shop. For full-service weddings that include set up, get in touch for a custom quote.

How far in advance should I book my wedding?

We recommend reaching out as early as possible, especially for spring and fall weddings. May, June, September and October are the busiest months of the year. Smaller celebrations can often be booked through our Wedding & Celebration Shop.

Do you offer flowers for DIY weddings?

Yes. We offer bulk flower buckets, greenery, and select floral products for couples who want to arrange some or all of their own flowers. You can find them all in our Wedding & Celebration Shop.

Do you travel for weddings?

Yes. We regularly serve Asheville, Hendersonville, Highlands, Cashiers, Charlotte, Greenville, and many other destinations throughout the region.

Flower Subscriptions

How do flower subscriptions work?

Our subscriptions deliver fresh, seasonal flowers on a recurring schedule, making it easy to enjoy locally grown blooms at home or surprise someone with an ongoing gift.

Can I give a subscription as a gift?

Yes! Flower subscriptions make wonderful gifts for birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, or simply to brighten someone's week.

Can I pause or change my subscription?

Please contact us, and we'll be happy to help adjust your subscription whenever possible.

Our Flower Farm

Where are your flowers grown?

Our flowers are grown on our 30-acre farm in Hendersonville. We have a heated greenhouse, and we grow flowers year-round.

Why does buying local flowers matter?

Local flowers capture the essence of the season and create a sense of time and place that's meaningful. Just like a fine wine conveys the character of the place where it was grown, locally grown flowers capture a place and time and add dimension and meaning to your experience. Plus, local flowers are fresher and sometimes last longer than imports. They also support our local economy and create an advanced agricultural system for local resilience!

Flower Care

How can I make my flowers last longer?

For the longest vase life:

  • Ensure the flowers have plenty of water at all times. Fresh flowers drink water quickly! It's always good to top off your arrangement as soon as it arrives.
  • Change the water everyday.
  • Trim the stems when you change the angle. Cutting at a slight angle can help flowers absorb more water.
  • Keep flowers away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and ripening fruit.
  • Remove any leaves below the waterline.
  • Don't try any tricks (pennies, bleach, etc.) Clean water is the best life lengthener!

How long will my flowers last?

Most arrangements stay beautiful for approximately five days, depending on the flower varieties and how they're cared for. Many flowers will last seven or even 10 days with proper care.

Returns & Cancellations

Can I cancel my order?

Maybe. Flower orders can be cancelled for a refund within 48 hours of being placed unless the order as placed within 72 hours of pick up or delivery.

For all other orders, store credit will be issued for flower orders if notice is given 72 hours in advance of the pick-up/delivery date of the order.

All flower cancellations made before the 72 hour deadline are eligible for store-credit only.

Flower orders cancelled less than 72 hours in advance of pick up or delivery will not receive a refund or store credit.

What if there's an issue with my flowers?

Your satisfaction is important to us. If your flowers arrive damaged or you're unhappy with your order, please contact us within 24 hours of receiving your flowers for a replacement.
