Hannah & Schuyler
Hannah and Schuyler wed on a beautiful and bright spring day at Rumbling Bald Resort in Lake Lure, NC. At the beginning of peony season, this wedding benefited from amazing coral charm peonies, plus poppies and ranunculus. Hannah requested a pop of burgundy in her bouquet, and we think it was a perfect fit for lysimachia beaujolais, the type of weird flower you can only find locally.
Hannah's bridesmaid bouquets were miniature versions of her own that looked wonderful alongside their dresses in shades of blue and green, coordinating but not matching!
The soft light from Lake Lure cast a romantic glow over the ceremony. We decorated the arbor with big floral swags in coral, light pink, light blue and greenery.
Baskets overflowing with flowers framed the entrance to the aisle and made for a beautiful way to welcome guests to the ceremony. These baskets brought an earth, grounding element to the very fancy and colorful flowers.
At the reception, bright floral centerpieces in gold compotes brightened the pavilion. Overhead, greenery created an enchanted garden feeling.
Around the dance floor, we wrapped the pavilion poles with abundant greenery. This thoughtful design element elevated the atmosphere and brought nature inside, a perfect complement to the dance party!
