Select from the dropdown.
Ranunculus prefer a cool start, so plant as soon as possible. Plant in April. Do not wait.
Choose an outdoor, well-draining spot in full sun or afternoon shade. Provide at least 6 hours of direct sunlight per day for the best blooms. If available, fertilize with an all-purpose fertilizer at planting.
Provide abundant airflow by spacing ranunculus 12 inches apart from themselves and other plants.
Water approximately every 3-4 days. Allow soil to dry between waterings.
Cover with frost cloth, a bucket or a sheet when hard frosts are forecast (below 28 degrees). Remove covering as soon as air temperature rises above 32.
